Being a part of the hospital staff or a health practitioner you too have a role in IPE and can be involved. Does ‘patient satisfaction’, ‘patient safety’, ‘quality improvement’, ‘team-based care’, or ‘reimbursement reform sound familiar?? Interprofessional education is a METHODOLOGY to work together to improve outcomes in areas applicable across professions. We are systematically identifying interprofessional staff exemplars.
We invite you to participate as experts at educational activities as a facilitator or a preceptor. Some activities could include:
- Workshops
- Simulations
- Activities in the clinical skills center
and much more.
The stories of open communication and collaboration from our health practitioners and hospital staff have some of the greatest impact on our learners. Learning through example is the way to transform the collaborative culture at UAMS.
