Fabric Masks needed at UAMS

We are looking for a few good crafty friends to make fabric masks for non-clinical UAMS employees.

“Beginning Friday, (04/24) all UAMS employees and students will be required to wear face masks while they are on any of our campuses.”

Know anyone who makes cotton face masks?
😷😷😷 UAMS needs donations!

The drop off location is inside the double doors at the main entrance of the UAMS Medical Center or you can call 501-686-5657.

This video from the CDC  and this handout from the CDC provide instructions on how to quickly make a no-sew mask from a T-shirt or a bandana.

Here are a few other resources we found (these sites are not sponsored or endorsed by UAMS or any of its affiliates).

Remember, just because it’s practical, doesn’t it mean it can’t be fun!
(Fabric face masks should be made of new, tight-weave cotton fabric. Fabric masks must cover your nose and mouth and must not have patterns or messages inconsistent with the spirit of the UAMS Dress Code/Appearance Policy (HR.2.03) (i.e., should not contain profanity or inappropriate or political logos).)

Take a look at these fun masks:
